To share my love and appreciation for the beautiful shoreline which offers so much peace and tranquility.

Gathering Inspiration

I’m deeply inspired by the ocean and spend a lot of time at the beach, walking, listening, photographing, and observing the conversations between the sea, sky, and shore. Every day is different and fills me with awe as I am reminded that I am part of something bigger than myself that I don’t fully understand.

Creative Process

I used watercolor for its fluid qualities that are spontaneous and free, qualities that embody the balance and serenity found at the shoreline. I layered in iridescent paints and flecks of gold to accentuate the shimmers of light off the water. I wanted that sparkle to reflect a little light into the world.

I chose to paint these small because I love to gift intimate, sentimental items and thought these would make a lovely gift for a friend, a couple, or yourself! They look great displayed just about anywhere; a nook, on the wall, in a grouping, or over a vase, or a bottle.
