Saying goodbye in more ways than one…

Happy New Year painting

Happy New Year!

Saying goodbye to 2015 comes with mixed emotions, but I am ready to embrace 2016 with love and grace. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and found yourself light-hearted among the hustle. It’s easy to get lost in the hustle isn’t it? The simple pleasure of spending time with my family and ringing in the New Year with good friends still makes my heart glow. I have so many wonderful memories to carry into the new year and so many new ones to create. I want to thank you for all the support you continuously give me. I cannot tell you what it means to me!

I am bursting with some BIG news to share with you!

I have a *NEW STUDIO*!!!

I recently moved out of my cozy studio of the past seven years at Above Elite. It all happened so quickly, but serendipity was on my side, along with the support of my husband and the back breaking work of some wonderful friends. My focus right now is to get unpacked, tend to my students, get back to painting, writing and my new collaboration with Tina.  Everything is one hot mess right now but I love my new space! move.tag

I am in the process of assessing and letting go of things that are no longer necessary or bringing joy to my life. It’s surprising what you can acquire over time! I know it will take me longer to unpack using Marie Condo’s method of decluttering, but this “tidying practice” is seriously changing my life. The benefits far outweigh the effort it takes to let things go and magical things truly do happen. I can’t wait to share my new digs with you! In the meantime you can join my newsletter or follow me on Instagram to learn of my progress.

Wishing you the most FABULOUS New Year ever!

  1. Happy, happy New Year to you Laura! And congrats on your new move. Liked Above Elite but difficult to manage the stairs if one has arthritis issues. Hoping your new digs are more geezer-friendly so that I can attend your functions more often. I’m sure that it will exude bountiful joy as does everything you touch.

    1. Thank you Marge!
You are so sweet! I won’t miss those stairs either! Yes, my new studio is a little easier to manage. Wishing you so much joy in the new year. xoLaura 🙂

  2. So proud of our daughter and her accomplishments! Everyone who knows her will always see her smiling face and positive attitude. She is truly someone you want to be around. Love you, Laura!

  3. So happy to hear !! can’t wait to visit you in your new space- Will be lovely to see how your new environment & lighting will shine upon your beautiful art
    Xo Judy
