Voyage of Self Discovery

MINDFUL MONDAY : March 18, 2019

I believe life is a voyage of self discovery. It means going within to know who and what we really are. It’s knowing we have the ability to change for the better by loving and taking care of ourselves. ⁣
As cliche as it may sound, it’s only when we love ourselves that we can love others fully. I truly believe that love has a ripple effect on humanity and is the most important thing there is. ⁣
This week, consider doing one nice thing for yourself. Maybe it’s taking the time to pick out an outfit you feel really good in, painting your nails, treating yourself to a “fancy” coffee with the pretty design on top, signing up for that yoga class that you know will relieve some stress in your life, or making an appointment for a massage. ⁣
Go on, you deserve it! Allow yourself a little self care and let your light radiate out into the world…May you have the most lovely week. love you!💕 xo ⁣
p.s. I invite you to share one thing you would like to do for yourself in the comments. Let’s inspire each other! 😊

My one little word for 2019

TERRIFIC TUESDAY : March 19, 2019

So I’m a little late sharing my “word” of the year 😳.

Drum roll please… ⁣

🌴⁣ My word is LISTEN ⁣

🌸⁣ ⁣Listening is a practice and this year I am open to all the possibilities that come from truly listening – to myself, to others, and to the beautiful earth around me.⁣

🌸⁣ Did you pick a word to inspire your year? If so, I would love for you to share it with me in the comments below. 😊⁣ p.s. I wrote more about how it came HERE⁣.

WISDOM WEDNESDAY : March 20, 2019

🌸⁣ Isn’t this little ceramic cactus cute? It reminds me of all the cacti I saw in Aruba. I love the simple shape and have always been drawn to organic forms, especially circles. What’s your favorite shape? ⁣

⁣I’ve been dreaming of summer and the beautiful pink sunsets here on the shoreline and the “feels” I get walking on the beach. The polka dotted circles represent the “ripple effect” of love I was talking about on Monday.⁣

⁣I’m calling this painting, “Radiate Love” and I hope whoever receives it feels the heart I put into it and passes that feeling of love to others. This painting was just listed in the shop.

It’s an acrylic painting, painted on a deep wood panel measuring 6″ x 6″. It’s wired and ready to hang but looks equally lovely on a shelf.

FABULOSO FRIDAY! March 22, 2019

⁣I just bought my Amtrak tickets to NYC! I’m meeting up with @tinahirsig next week for our annual “arting” trip. ⁣We have been meeting up once a year for the past 13 years!

⁣Last year we met in Asheville, NC which was AMAZING beautiful! We rented a little cabin in the woods, got to do a little hiking in the mountains and see some amazing art. A highlight of mine was a visit to the Biltmore Mansion where we saw Dale Chihuly’s work.

⁣Imagine the most SPECTACULAR gardens filled with glass sculptures!

Ridiculously gorgeous! (you can see all the pictures in my instagram highlights under “arting”. ⁣

⁣This trip will be am packed with goodness! Can’t wait to share all the art with you 🙂 ⁣
