That's why, as an artist, I’m committed to taking "artist dates" ~ little outings to nurture my creativity and reconnect with nature.

Last week I went on an artist date to Ender’s Island to see the dahlias in bloom. The dahlia's vibrant colors and intricate petal patterns have always been a wellspring of inspiration for me. It was a perfect day, and the sky was like a magnificent canvas painted with clouds and shades of deep cerulean blue.

As I strolled through the rows of dahlia blooms, I felt a profound connection with the natural world, and I couldn't help but think of how essential these artist dates have become in my life.
