Explorations in Allowing 2017
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
~Hellen Keller
Hello & Happy NEW YEAR!
I get VERY excited about the new year, always have. Each new year brings me fresh eyes, a little more clarity and time to dream about what I most wish to create in this life. Sometimes I need reminding that creation is a journey.
Journeys have the possibility of unlocking growth, adventure and joy
Creation also builds confidence and pride.Isn't it an amazing feeling when you step back from something you created and feel like "I did that!" Maybe it's a home cooked meal, organizing your closet, something you wrote, or the snowman you built with your grandchildren. Whatever it is, it feels really good doesn't it? This is how I wish we felt all the time.
I will always appreciate Joseph Campbell for instilling in me the belief that we are meant to "follow our bliss".
For the most part I feel like I have been doing this, but there are also whispers of resistance that creep in and keep me from taking the bigger leaps that my heart calls me towards. I want to shine a light on them, thank them for their teachings and release them knowing I have learned the lessons I was meant to learn.
"If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are — if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time."
~Joseph Campbell
This year I will be tuning into my innerguidance, allowing love & joy to guide me fully. If you would like to come along on my "joy parade" join my newsletter and we can light up our paths together.
Wishing you space to dream and follow your own joy!
“To be great, be whole; Exclude nothing, exaggerate nothing that is not you. Be whole in everything. Put all you are Into the smallest thing you do. So, in each lake, the moon shines with splendor Because it blooms up above.”
