My Word of the Year 2024

I hope the new year finds you well. The start of a fresh new year is always exciting to me. It's not so much about resolutions but more about dreaming, setting intentions, and having hope for what's to come.

Do you do anything special to welcome the new year?

I have tried many different things over the years.

 Things like:

Making a Vision Board

Creating an Affirmation Book

Journaling to reflect on the past year

Reviewing my habits

Keeping a Gratitude Journal

Reading something inspirational

For 2024 I'm revisiting some of the things that feel fun and expansive to me. In particular journaling and visioning. I also pick a guiding word for the year.

My word for this year is DELIGHT and I love it SO much!

It's a word that makes me feel open, expansive, curious, and joyful ~ very much how I want to feel this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to teach me!

Do you choose a guiding word for the year?

If so, leave yours in the comments and share yours with me!

If you have no idea what I'm talking about watch this video, and if you are having trouble choosing your word try Susanna Conway's FREE Unravel Your Year Workbook. It's a great resource for clarifying your intentions. It also includes a great guide for looking back and appreciating 2023.

I think having a guiding word for the year is a bit magical, even if you don't do anything to embody it, somehow just by setting the intention you will find it embodies you.

It's a simple way to keep yourself anchored and focused on what you are wanting for your life and I'm excited to see what delights this year will bring!

Trust has ben my guiding word for the past two years and will probably be one of my “wing words” this year. I made a beautiful pdf. of 40 of my favorite affirmations for you to enjoy!

Sending my warmest wishes for

health, happiness and lots of DELIGHTS this year!
