I love visiting places that awaken my senses and intentionally seek them out. Any place that has flowers always fills me with inspiration that then gets stored up for my creative work.

I recently took myself on an Artist Date to “Wicked Tulips” Flower Farm. It’s the largest local pick your own tulip farm in New England and well worth the visit. I was awestruck seeing so many tulips all at once and loved seeing so many people out appreciating them and supporting this lovely local business.

These apricot parrot tulips were my favorite. Their uniqueness and color makes my heart sing.

 

I soaked up all that color and of course, brought a gorgeous bunch of happy tulips back to the studio to enjoy.
